We’ve all seen them, sitting at their table in the local bingo hall with their trinkets and magical items (toy trolls with illuminated hair sprouting out, a rabbit's foot for a key-chain, the lucky socks, the lucky t-shirt and many more... But, do all those items really help bingo players? It seems that some ignore logic and believe that those bingo good luck charms can be helpful.
With the new movement in online bingo gambling some thought that bingo good luck charms and lucky bingo players are history. In fact, the only thing that happened is that they moved their spot from the local bingo hall to their computer at home, maybe having now more space for their trinkets and magical items.
I suppose that those who believe in bingo good luck charms also invented all those bingo myths. Such an irrational myth is one that states that certain patterns on the bingo game cards will boost your odds of winning.
Some players might feel more contented or are attracted to certain patterns for personal reasons. However, such patterns don’t have any bearing on the actual playing of the game. I suppose that the attachment may be explained away if one can think that they play better with those methods.
One of the most popular trinkets (and silly in my opinion) is the rabbit’s foot. The myth for this trinket is that the rabbit foot needs to be the left one and it must be obtained from a rabbit that is shot in a cemetery on Friday the 13th. Such an unlucky rabbit.
Because Online Bingo games are only simple games of chance, I suppose this is the reason why people invented bingo good luck charms and myths. The general theory for all bingo good luck charms is that they function only if you believe in them.
Anyhow, you should not take from this article that I have something against people believing in bingo good luck charms, because I don’t. There are some theorists who say that if a person thinks positively about how such an trinket or magical item even the color of the pen they might use while play bingo online or at the local bingo hall, that this will create positive energy around them. Maybe they will win a bingo game, maybe they won’t. However, to be sure, other positive things will happen as they are in that state of mind that day. And with this theory I do agree and I actually support it.
In the end, whether bingo good luck charms help the bingo player or not have not been proven yet. But this is an entertaining game and everyone should feel comfortable either at the table in the local bingo hall or at home while they play bingo online. Who knows, perhaps there might actually be a pot of gold.
