There are three attitudes that should be present when making bets. These are positivism, neutrality and hope. Some gamblers think that it is enough to make the bet when the positive attitude and the neutral one are present. Keeping a positive attitude is always the best choice even when you have to put up with a losing bet, the player still feels he will win in the long run. Such kind of attitude is very helpful in oppressing short term losing lines.

Neutral is a bet; say in poker, that if the pot odds are right, the player will make the bet with no particular feeling. The bet is a planned mathematical bet without any feeling or idea.

The winning positive attitude is favorable in every form of gambling to making winning lines and enduring short term losing lines. The positive attitude makes it easier to double a winning bet for the next hand of blackjack or the next roll of the dice. It makes you strong-minded on when to push and when to just keep the original bet in place. Some people get this when drinking, but this attitude is a falsely gain attitude and may fall down when put to the test.
