We all know that poker is one of the most popular games in the world, and it shouldn't surprise us that it's played by millions of people worldwide. It is an exiting game but more important, it is a very fun game to play, and that is why more and more people are hosting poker parties.
Nowadays poker is no longer an exclusively male game, as more and more women are playing it, and they are becoming more involved in the poker scene. Some time ago, a poker party was a "boy’s night" but this is no longer the case. Anyone can host a poker party as long as he/she knows how to keep things interesting and please all the players.
You should make the party appealing to everyone that is involved in it. You should know that the poker party should start only after some chill out time, like talking, having fun, and so on; you shouldn’t start it as soon as everyone gets there.
You must have a large table and a chair for each player. Make sure that everyone is familiar with the rules of the game, and to be sure of it, have tips printed up and occlude them with invitations. Use standard playing cards, and instead of chips, you could use counterfeit coins, or pennies. The purpose is to have fun while you play, that's why money isn't very important.
Usually poker players consume beer at such activities, but you could offer them any drink you want (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Offer them chips, pizzas, or mini sandwiches, to make sure that the party will be successful.
