Poker : The Nice Guys of Poker

Everybody wants to become a successful poker player, to win a grand tournament and walk away with millions of dollars. Not everyone can become a professional poker player, not to talk about winning millions of dollars.

There are four professional poker players who are considered the nice guys in the poker world. Off-table, of course, because when they play they are the toughest guys you can play with.

Daniel Negreanu
He won more than $4.4 million in the 2004's tournaments, and he won the World Series of Poker Player of the Year and Cardplayer Magazine's Tournament Player of the Year awards also in that same year.

He was named Card Player’s Favorite Poker Player in 2006, because Daniel is a very friendly person and he likes his fans. He even gives them tips on how can they improve their game.

Howard Lederer
His nickname is The Professor and he is Annie Duke's brother, who is also a professional poker player. He has made an instructional poker video called "Secrets of No Limit Hold'em" and he is co-hosting a tournament poker show for Fox. He has made more than $2.7 million from various poker tournaments.

Scotty Nguyen
Scotty is a very active player and he has finished in money in more than 100 poker events between 2000 and 2004. He is famous for the catchphrases "yeah baby" and "that's poker baby", which he constantly uses during his matches. He has made almost $6 million from the poker tournaments he has competed in.

Chris Ferguson
He has won two World Series of Poker titles in 2003, but he has five World Series of Poker titles. His long hair and beard have brought him the nickname "Jesus". He is also known for the abilities of cutting through bananas and pickles by throwing cards. He has made more than $5 million from playing poker.
