Information for Craps Novices
On the one hand, the excitement of craps attracts crowds of people. Yet, on the other hand it may prevent shy players from trying their hand in the game. If you are one of them, don’t get misled by appearances. In fact, craps is a simple game.
There is only one main bet that players need to learn before heading over to the table or checking out a virtual table online. After this one wager, the other bets will come in time. Craps is one of the oldest casino games and the only popular dice game at American casinos today. The novice player will have to learn some basic vocabulary connected with the game. Since the game has ancient origin, its language sometimes appear more difficult to learn than the game itself.
How does the game performance look like? There are two rounds. The first one is called the Come Out Round and the second the Point. Two rounds, but one basic bet: The shooter ( the person who throws the dice ) needs to throw a 7 or 11 in the Come Out Round. These numbers mean an automatic win. A 2,3, or 12 an automatic loss. Numbers 1,4,5,6,8,9 or 10 become the Point and the game moves to the second round. The goal in the Point round is to roll the Point number before rolling a 7. If the shooter rolls a seven before the Point, it means an automatic loss and a new beginning of the game.
