Some of the most basic craps strategies can be applied to multiple types of casino games and can be tried out at the leading online casinos. Craps really isn’t a strategy game, but some of the simple game strategies are based on helping players hang onto their money longer and take more enjoyment out of the game. All players want a good chance to win, and there are no guarantees, but some of these strategies can help improve those chances if done right.

1. Set a Limit - players should always have a number set regarding how much they’re willing to lose when they play any casino game including craps. When players set a limit like this, it doesn’t matter how much they’ve won; once they’ve lost that set amount then it’s time that the walk away from the craps table. If the loss amount set was $50, then that’s when playing stops. Some experts also recommend that once they’ve hit 20% of the total bets placed, then they stop.

2. Set a Budget - setting a budget is as important as setting a limit for what can be lost. This means deciding how much money players have to play with in the first place so they never spend more than they’re able to afford. A limit can be set monthly, daily or for each casino game on a daily basis. This helps players ensure they keep their betting under control, but by setting daily limits it also makes sure that players can play longer. If they go through their complete monthly budget on the first day of the month; then they won’t have any chance to play later.

3. Try a Craps Betting System - craps betting systems are based on money management and help guide players on which bets to make in order to get the best odds. There are a number of betting systems that players can try out that best fit their bankroll.

4. Understand how Risky Specific Bets Are - betting systems can also help guide players on how risky their bets are and choosing bets suitable for their bankroll. Certain bets in craps games have big payouts, but the bigger the payout the higher the risk; meaning, players have a chance of losing big as well. By knowing the odds of each bet, they can choose bets that fit their bankroll.

5. Remain Cool-headed - some players fall into trouble with gambling because they feed into the adrenaline and desire to win no matter what. Players may know strategies, understanding betting systems, and have set loss limits as well as budgets; but if they let their betting get out of hand there’s no winning. Players need to keep cool heads and remain smart about their bets. First and foremost playing any casino game, including craps should be about fun
No craps strategies are fool-proof, since it’s a game where the outcome cannot be guaranteed, but with the above, players can try and take their money further and ensure that there gaming experience is fun!
