Five Count Craps System

When you are playing the game of craps, and this applies whether it is an online game or an experience in a "brick and mortar" casino, one of the things you have to be able to do is exploit a streak as it is happening. Like many casino games, craps is one where you can very easily go on a streak, one way or the other, and if you can recognize the situation where it can be a positive for you, you have to pounce on it. There are systems that have been devised for the purposes of doing just that. One of them is called the Five-Count Craps System, and once you get the hang of it, it is not a difficult system to pick up on.
So what's the objective here? Well, it's to catch a shooter who can go off on a streak. The belief is that if a shooter gets hot, you want to ride it for as long as you can. There is also a belief that there are some shooters who are better than others. Well, that might be engaging in something of a wishful train of thought, but there is no question that the actions of a shooter do indeed have impact on the game.
The idea, if you are in the brick and mortar casino at least, is to catch the right shooters. If you’re in an online craps game, you just want to ride a nice wave in the algorithm. That brings us to the actual "Five Count," and there are five steps that are going to constitute your approach.
-- It starts with the shooter, who is going to throw a point number. If the shooter throws a 7, 11, 2, 3 or 12, you DO NOT count this as a step.
-- The next step comes when the shooter throws any number except seven (7). This is when you start to bet. What you have to remember is to bet the same on the Come and Don't Come.
-- Steps 3, 4 and 5 are basically the same. In these steps, you are throwing the same bet combinations onto the table. If a number hits, then you just replace it with the same combination. What you want to do is to add full odds to all of the Come bets.
As the game moves forward, you have to follow a certain pattern or craps system, although it may not seem so scientific. If you don't get any of your numbers coming in after a period of three rolls, call all the odds off. Then you will wait for two rolls, and if the shooter is still out there, go ahead and put the full odds back up.
There are places where you can get into danger. You can, for example, get "sided" when a 12 is rolled. That means you will lose on the Come bet, and push (tie) on the Don't Come bet. Of course, you don't have to freak out too much because this is a longshot - only a 35-to-1 possibility that it will come up on any given roll.
The overall philosophy behind the Five Count system is that while you may score fewer wins, on those bets you DO win, you are going to win MORE. This system also has the potential to get more mileage out of your bankroll.
There is also an interesting side benefit to this system. If you've followed it so far you'll see that you are putting more money into action with much less risk than usual. This "action" is certainly registered with the casino, whether it is something that can help you get credit toward comps in the physical casino environment, or count against play-through requirements that are needed to take advantage of casino bonuses from the online casino.
