The Come Balance Craps System

You can imagine that a craps player is always on the lookout for something that would present the opportunity to maximize any advantage to be derived during a nice streak. There are craps systems that have been devised to do just that. One of them is called the "Come Balance" system, which has its foundation in the practice of putting Come bets and Pass Line bets into the game at the same time during play.

Pass Line bets, as you probably know, are wagers that win when a 7 or 11 is produced on the come-out roll, and lose when the come-out roll yields a 2, 3 or 12. After the point gets established, that particular number must be repeated before the seven rolls for a Pass Line bet to cash in. A Come bet is very similar, in that it also wins with a 7 or 11 on the come-out roll, and loses when the come-out roll produces a 2, 3 or 12. However, the fundamental difference is that the Come bet is placed AFTER the point is established, while the Pass Line bet goes in BEFORE the point is established. There are times when the Pass Line and Come bets can cancel each other out; that is, when one wins and the other loses. If you have a $5 Pass Line bet out there, for example, and the point is a 5, then turn around and place a Come bet, and a seven is rolled, you are going to win your Come bet, and lose the Pass Line bet.

What you are going to do is put Come and Pass Line bets out there simultaneously on the next come-out, so that your bets are "balanced." What you're trying to accomplish is to guard yourself against getting beaten on a 7-out roll, which stings. When numbers start to repeat (in other words, when points are rolled again before a 7), you will start to win.

It is an important part of this craps system that you balance Come bets with other bets - it is the fruit of this craps strategy. You're going to start with the Pass Line bet, and after the point is established, you put down a Come bet for the same amount. So if the first wager is a Pass Line bet for $5, then you will make a $5 Come bet. The third bet will be a $10 Come bet. Then, following the progression, it is $20 on the next bet, and once again, you are hoping that numbers repeat.

The amount of the next bet will be determined by the amount you had on the table for the last bet, and that will be a Come bet. It is not generally recommended that you go off and make other bets, although we recognize that there are certain options you may want to make use of.

It is important to keep in mind that you will lose if a 2, 3 or 12 is rolled. What you want to do with the Come Balance system is to, in effect, neutralize the seven, by "balancing'" the deleterious effects of that seven (7) rolling.
