Nobody had guessed all the six winning numbers until now. That’s why the Mega Millions jackpot had risen to $60 million.

In the March 23 Mega Millions draw, 498,855 tickets were winners, but none of them won the highest pot. Thus, the estimated sum of $48 million was raised to $60 million. For the Tuesday, March 27, 2007 Mega Millions edition a lot of people bought in to find out if there was to be a big winner.

Six tickets were close to hitting the jackpot in Friday's edition. Only one number separated them from the big jackpot. Those tickets were bought in California, New York and Virginia. The winning numbers in Friday's show were: 18-21-35-51-53 and the Mega Ball number was 36.

Mega Millions lucky numbers are selected Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
