European Blackjack is similar to standard Blackjack. Some of the differences in the European Blackjack game are that the dealer does not deals himself a face down card until the player have not taken all his playing decisions, including splitting and doubling. The dealer is governed by the rules in which he must stand on soft 17. Players have the doubling options but only on hard totals of 9-11.

The dealer deals two cards in rotation to the players involved in the game starting from left to right. As in standard Blackjack, the objective of European Blackjack is to beat the dealer with a hand value as closer as possible to 21 and with a higher value than the dealer’s hand. If your hand value goes over 21 you loose.
