Sevens & Stripes is a real meat-and-potatoes slot game. It's got three-reels, a single-payline, and is found at casinos with RealTime Gaming software, which, needless to say, is one of the world leaders when it comes to putting together software for the best online casinos. It has a no-nonsense interface that makes everything relatively easy, and you're going to get the feeling, while staring ahead at this game, that you're at a real-life physical casino location.
That's because RTG, to its everlasting credit, has designed Sevens & Stripes in such a way that this three-reel slot looks just like a real slot machine. You've even got the levers on the side. Once again, RTG shows that even in something that is so basic, they don't lack for imagination.
If you like what might be called "traditional" slot machine play (and there's nothing wrong with it if you are), Sevens & Stripes is just what the doctor ordered. You couldn't get any simpler than this - there are Sevens and Bars in this game and that's about it, with the "stripes" being inserted no doubt as a variation on the "Stars and Stripes" of the American flag, where obviously, the Sevens (7's) are red, white and blue.
The biggest jackpot you win in this game is 10,000 coins, and you get that by pulling up the combination of a red seven, white seven and blue seven across the payline with a three-coin bet. Red 7's across will pay 5000 coins for that same level of bet. Next on the list comes white 7's (600 coins), and that's the same payout value as a red, white and blue Bar combination. There are six other combinations for which you can get paid in Sevens & Stripes.
This is the list, with figures that represent that which comes with a maximum three-coin wager:
Blue Sevens -- 300
Triple Blue Bars - 120
Any Sevens - 60
Double White Bars - 60
Single Red Bars - 30
Any Bars - 12
There are no secrets about payouts for anyone who plays these online slots; they are right in front of your eyes, up on top of the actual reels, so obviously there couldn't be anything simpler than the interface RTG has designed here.
There are three denominations of bets in this game - 5, 25 and 100, and you can play up to three coins per round. So obviously you can adapt to this game, whether you are a casual or "heavy" player. You can choose to "Bet One" or "Play 3 Credits" according to the buttons on the interface. If course, clicking "Bet One" again makes it two. When you click "Spin Reel" the game starts. There are windows where you can determine how much you have been paid (Winner Paid) and how many coins you are betting (Coins Played).
This is not the place if you're looking for a lot of bells and whistles. There are no wilds or scatters, and there is nothing that is going to launch a free spins game. However, there's a certain appeal in the fact that everything is so simple.
There's some nice sound effects here. When you throw coins into the game, RealTime Gaming casino software has configured it so that it sounds a lot like it would when you're putting them into a physical slot machine, and when you hit a jackpot, it's going to get noisy. That's okay, if you like you can turn the sounds down, or even off, through the player options that are available in Sevens & Stripes. This game is also easily expandable to a full screen, to give you a better view.
This is something of an "old school" atmosphere, but if that is something you like, then you are in for a whole lot of fun with Sevens & Stripes!
