AP, UB change the promoters

Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker are improving their marketing plans, and as a consequence, the well known poker pros Michael Mizrachi, Mark Seif and Antonio Esfandiari, will no longer be used to promote the sites.

From November last years both UB and AP are properties of Absolute Entertainment. The sites, which function on different networks, have continued to allow real-money play by U.S. customers in the months following the UIGEA.

The company officials said they are trying to offer U.S. customers the very best in online poker and for this reason the company renounced at the partnership with the three poker professionals. But they didn’t reject the idea of having other poker pros as promoters. Moreover, the company intends to have a professional for each brand in the future.

The real reason of ending the partnership was given by the concerns that the promoters of the sites would be viewed as "aiding and abetting" Internet gambling by Department of Justice and, as a result, could compromise the business.

In the end, the UB brand will be promoted internationally by Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke. The same site will promote the Aruba Poker Classic in the U.S. AP will be promoted by model Serinda Swan. Also the players will be attracted to the site through a special offer named Absolute Dream package.
