"The normal purse for the Breeders' Cup Classic is going to be $5 million, up from $4 million last year. The Turf will be around $3 million, up from $2 million. And the residual races will have purses of $2 million, up from either $1 million or $1.5 million, with the exception of Distaff, which had a $2 million purse last year..."
