County casino boats banned in South Carolina
By Arthur Levine, Jul 16th 2007County lawmakers decided Tuesday that all the boats must leave Horry County within five years. The decision was taken after years of negotiations but the state law obliged the County Council to offer the industry a five year grace period.
There are only two casino boats in South Carolina and they attract 275,000 visitors each year.
