European Bookmarkers in big trouble

By George Oates, Feb 28th 2006
As reported by the UK Sky News: "Europe's leading bookmakers are being sued in court by Real Madrid star David Beckham and some of his team-mates."

"Seven firms are included in this law process, started by the England captain plus Raul, Figo, Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane."

"The officials acting for the Spanish team have claimed that the internet gambling companies have unlawfully used images of the club and players on their websites and in advertising."

"The seven European gambling websites which are being brought in front of the court for legal action are: the Hilton Group, Sporting Exchange, BAW International, MrBookmaker.com, Villa La Palma, William Hill Organisation and Victor Chandler"
