From Soccer to Poker

The famous soccer star Teddy Sheringham, from Evergreen Premiership, entered a totally different world of sport, that of poker, and furthermore, he took some of the top professionals in the WPT Mandalay Poker Championship from Las Vegas.

Carrying the image of VC Poker.com, Sheringham is challenging some of the world's fastest poker guns in the World Poker Tour's premiere poker competition, where he can win approximately $4 million. Before this event, Teddy was recently named ambassador at VC Poker.com, where he challenged online players from all over the world.

The football star, has recently signed a new contract with West Ham for the period of one year, thus, being the oldest striker ever to play in Premiership history, who, for a long time, has been known as one of the more cerebral players in football, an attribute that should be of great use in his newest professional sporting endeavour.

"There is a huge difference between playing poker in Las Vegas, and playing soccer n the East End of London, but I’m up to it. Playing poker at a professional level, is what I want to be doing after I put an end to my soccer career, and the fact that VCPoker community is backing me up, is very encouraging.
