Macau Casino – a Top Destination

Macau's position as the first casino destination will not be endangered by Singapore or other parts of Asia.

A spokesperson for Stanley Ho resorts announced that even when they will open the Singapore's two multibillion-dollar casino in 2010, the former Portuguese colony can still hold its position in the expanding gaming market. This is because they have different targets. Tourists to Macau are mainly from Hong Kong and Taiwan, while Singapore is trying to attract neighboring countries in Southeast Asia as well as India and China.

The Macau gaming condominiums are expected to hold more than a dozen new casino resorts with Venetian Macau as the centerpiece. The new gaming center will offer 3,000 hotel rooms.
