Midday game launched by Pennsylvania Lottery

Ed Trees, the Lottery Executive Director, said that the Treasure Hunt's animation which will be featured on the Lottery’s website will make this draw different than the previous ones.
A map will appear on the screen, and on the map an "X" will be displayed. The X will mark the place where the treasure is buried. The winning numbers will be revealed in treasure chests.
The tickets will go on sale Tuesday, May 8 and the first draw will take place in that day’s afternoon. Each day of the week a new draw will take place together with the Daily Number and BIG 4 events.
A Treasure Hunt play costs $1, and the player must select five numbers from 1 to 30. The player can let the computer to select the numbers instead of him. The numbers will be animatedly displayed on the Lottery’s website. The site will display a 30 squares grid, each grid containing numbers, and the players must choose the grids that they believe will be drawn.
A Random Number Generator will choose the winning numbers for Treasure Hunt; the same system which chooses the numbers for The Daily Number and BIG 4 games. Each day after 1 P.M, the numbers will be drawn and then through Animated Digital Draw System's computerized renderings they will be placed on the website.
The people will be able to see the numbers on the website shortly after 1:35 P.M. each day. The Lottery's toll-free; hot line number (877) 282-4639 also provides information about the drawn numbers.
There will be four categories of prizes: $1 by matching two numbers, $6 by matching 3 numbers, $100 by matching four numbers, and the jackpot by matching all the five numbers. $10,000 is the initial value of the jackpot, but it continues to grow until someone wins it.
The tickets can be purchased up to one week in advance. The odds of winning a prize at this game are 1-in-5.45, and the odds of winning the jackpot are 1-in-142,506.
