NETELLER will return funds to U.S customers

An agreement was signed between United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York and NETeller in which NETeller's terms and timeline for returning funds to U.S customers were set.

In the next 75 days, NETeller will announce a plan to distribute funds to U.S. customers. The site updates.neteller.com has more information on this matter, or anyone who is interested can call the NETeller U.S. customer service line at 1-888-258-5899 for additional information.

The day after Stephen Lawrence and John LeFebvre (the company's co-founders) were arrested, the U.S. Attorney's Office seized $55 million from NETeller's U.S accounts.

Spokesperson Rebekah Carmichael said that the case was in process so the money couldn't be re-distributed yet.

Ron Martin, NETeller President and CEO said that there is collaboration between NETeller and U.S. Attorney's Office, to return all the money back to their U.S customers. He also stated that progress is being made, even if nothing is visible.

An agreement was also signed between NETeller and Navigant Consulting Inc, which will oversee the returning funds process and provide consulting in this operation.
