QUEBEC

Quebec has three casinos. The first opened in Montreal on October 9, 1993, the second opened on June 24,1994, in the Charlevoix region, and the third opened in Hull on March 24, 1996. The Societe des casinos du Quebec, Inc. is a subsidiary of LotoQuebec, the state agency authorized to run lotteries and other gaming activities on behalf of the Quebec Government; it is responsible for the operations of all Quebec casinos.
