Sixteen Indian gaming facilities operate in Minnesota. The gaming compacts negotiated with the State are based on the National Indian Gaming Act of 1988. The tribes offer blackjack, slots and bingo. The blackjack games are either six deck or four deck games. Slots include standard video, video poker, video keno, video craps, etc. Unlike Las Vegas, there is less glitz, but plenty of gaming fun. Alcoholic beverages and food are available at most, but not all casinos. There are no entrance fees. ID/passports are not required. The minimum gaming age is 18.
