17 WSOP Markets at Paddy Power

At the World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2007 event held in the Rio, Las Vegas from 28 July to 10 August 2006 participate up to 8000 poker players and the interest in betting on the WSOP event is growing immensely. Paddy Power launched today 14 new markets including:
- Age of Winner
- Female at the final table
- Paddy Power qualifier success
- Irish eyes are smiling
- Phil Ivey stage of elimination
- Chris Ferguson stage of elimination
- Daniel Negreanu stage of elimination
- Erik Seidel stage of elimination
- Andy Black stage of elimination
- Carlos Mortensen stage of elimination
- Dave 'The Devilfish' Ulliott stage of elimination
- Marcel Luske stage of elimination
- Joe Hachem stage of elimination
- Donnacha O'Dea stage of elimination
Paddy Power, head of communications for the bookie, said, 'The appetite for betting on the WSOP main event is huge and we're offering a broader selection of players and wider selection of markets than any other bookie.
If a player reaches Day 7 of the event (the final 60) but he doesn’t get in the final table he will be awarded by Paddy Power with a refunding of all its lost “to make the final table” bets made on that player before the start of the tournament.
The company now has 21 markets available on the World Series of Poker, giving it the most wide-ranging odds offerings. In addition it has individual priced over 300 players to make the final table and carries on adding names to the list at the request of punters.
