888 Holdings, has stated that in January 2007 its non-US operations profits reached the highest level. It is obvious that the online gaming corporation planned a strategy to win new business after the interdiction of online gambling by US authorities.

888 said that the income for non-US operations has grown with more than 15 % from October 2006 to January 2007. They sustain that they have no additional information on the takeover proposal by Ladbrokes revealed last year.

The internet gaming profits from its non-US business rose in 12 months with 28 % at $157 million, and the income from non-US poker players rose by 81 % to $68 million.

Nevertheless, 888 stated that its outcome in the fourth quarter of 2006 were not equivalent to those in the fourth quarter of 2005, all because of the suspension of its US operations last year.
