888 Shares Fall

LONDON, England: "The shares from Internet casino and poker room 888 fell more than 10 percent just after a 23 percent increase in sales to $80 million throughout the next quarter which also fell short of expectations.

"Second-quarter incomes fell short of our expectations in both poker and casino,' Investec forecaster Matthew Gerard said in a note.

"Owning Casino-on-Net and Reef Club Casino, 888.com said its casino incomes rose 9 percent year-on-year to $45 million (24 million pounds), while poker incomes climbed 48 percent to $35 million…"
