Big casino scam

Yau Yiv Lam and his partners in crime Fan Leung Tsang and Bit Chai Wong ripped off casinos out of thousands of pounds in a first detected major gambling scam in the UK.

The two men and a woman played together as a band, using ultra-modern surveillance apparatus to guarantee winnings in London's casinos. The trio was detained in a planned takedown by police and protection staff at the Mint Casino in South Kensington, London.

On the specific night in question, the two members of the gang wagered in a three-card poker game, one of them equipped with a micro camera veiled under his coat and pointing at the croupier.

The recording was transmitted, through a source attached to the man's waist, to a van closeby. There, a third person advised the two gamblers in the casino through hidden headsets on whether or not to bet
