Casinos around China are closing
By Andrea Klein, Apr 25th 2007Due to some major attacks on their operations more than one hundred casinos situated near China borders have been forced to close. The police work together with neighboring countries couldn’t stop the fall of the casinos. The officials take in consideration the possibility that the casinos were being used to steal government funds or illegal business earnings. Gambling along China borders is illegal, but is very popular among many Chinese. Experts believe that many casinos have gone underground but will resurface later once the attacks will slow down.
