Gaming site closes Turkish market
By Andrea Klein, Apr 26th 2007PartyGaming announced that it has stopped access of Turkish players to participate with real money on games promoted by its sites. That’s because of current legislation which states that unauthorized local or foreign company cannot provide some types of online gambling services to customers in Turkey.
The company assured that clients in Turkey are denied access to any of the Group's gaming sites. Also, the legislation pressed NETeller and Bwin to leave the Turkish market as well.
Turkey allows it's citizens to play games through its state-run monopoly.
