Man dies because of explosive device near Vegas casino
By Daniel Michaels, May 22nd 2007A man died on Sunday as he tried to remove an explosive device from the top of a car. The car was located in the parking garage of a casino. The man was pronounced dead at the hospital, minutes after the explosion.
Bill Cassell, police spokesman said that the person who was with the victim escaped without a wound from the incident. Police said that the man was the target of the explosive device, but it wasn't a mob hit or a terrorist one.
The man worked at a business inside the Luxor hotel-casino. The victim and the attacker are still unidentified, but the hotel's surveillance tapes are being watched for clues.
