Montana Horse Racing About to be Suspended

In the state of Montana, according to the Missoulian: "Do you enjoy horse racing?" "Then get in line and sign the list."

"'We want to obtain a large amount of signatures. That is why, our smallest goal is at least 1,000 signatures,' declared Bobbie Blodgett, one of the supervisors from Lucky Strike Casino and one of the organizers of this effort, to raise enough signatures, in order to save horse racing at the Western Montana Fair."

"Blodgett and others intend to present the petition Tuesday to the Missoula County commissioners at the courthouse around 2:45 p.m., because at the Tuesday meeting, around that time, the commissioners could vote to suspend the races."
