Stanley Casino Donates £1000 to Charity

In Bolton, England after the Bolton Evening News: "Big charity action done by a casino which has recently donated £1,000 to an aid fund set up by Bolton pupils raising money to help a poorly classmate."

"After observing the brave Keir Platt, at only six years of age, the children from St Anthony's RC School, Astley Bridge, started to raise the cash that the little boy was in need of."

"Keir Platt, is in the first year and he was born with a rare genetic disorder, metachromatic leukodystrophy, which has taken away his ability to walk and talk."

"Stanley Casino, in Higher Bridge Street, Bolton, presented the school with the £1,000 last week after hearing about the monthly school fun days pupils arranged to raise money for The Myelin Project, a charity which funds research into the disorder"
