The push to dismiss Penn Gaming regulator chair

To limit casino development in Philadelphia, the local Gaming Control Board is trying to stop the referendum. Anti-casino militants called the dismissal of the state’s gambling chairman. They'v demanded Gov. Rendell fire Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Chairman Thomas A. Decker for a supposed conflict of interest, among other accusations.
The leader of the anti-casino group, Daniel Hunter, mentioned the Gaming Control Board's lawsuit asking the Supreme Court to block the referendum, pressed the call for Decker's dismissal. The final decision is expected to be made public by the end of the month.
Decker categorically rejected the accusations and Rendell spokesman Chuck Ardo said the governor is convinced by the trustworthiness of the chairman.
