UK Yahoo! Launches a Real-Money Online Poker Room

The famous internet search engine, Yahoo! has announced that it is working to become the first Internet Service Provider (ISP) that can offer poker players the option to play for real money. Yahoo! UK unified its forces with Gibraltar-based St. Minver Ltd. to launch a real-money online poker room as soon as possible.

St. Minver is a company that provides online gambling solutions to European gaming networks. Seen from this point of view, the new site will focus on the booming European market.

In accordance with the new United States internet gambling laws, U.S. gamblers will not be allowed to use the new poker room for real-money play at the present time.

Yahoo! is well received around most of the globe and should be able to establish a strong customer base in little time.

The new Yahoo! site will perform on the International Poker Network (IPN) poker room which links internet sportsbooks with top poker brands in the industry.
