VIPsports.com Continues to Sponsor Car Tour

After the best season, ever at the 37th Annual AC Delco NHRA Gatornationals, the VIPsports.com Top Alcohol Funny Car Team shifts its focus to Bradenton, Florida and its NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Divisional race.

The team quickly forgot about Bradenton, after the Gainesville race, and has already set up camp for the week. The data acquired at the Gatornationals is being introduced in the computer, in the hope of training for the arrival of the full crew and driver Danny Townsend.

The famous VIPsports.com Dodge Stratus will appear at Bradenton Motorsports Park for the first time ever! This race will be the second in a four-race "Spring Tour" that ParkerTech Racing Services put together at the request of their sponsor, VIPsports.com. Frank Parker, team owner, declared: "VIPsports.com really enjoyed last year's season and the publicity it gained at the NHRA events."

They wanted to know if we could add some races to the schedule, which for us was a definitely must. "Of course, Parker jumped at the occasion to visit new tracks and build up more on-track data. With the extra experience from this tour, the team hopes to replicate their 2005 Jeg's All Stars final-round appearance, but this time with the win light in their lane.

The following stop on the VIPsports.com "Spring Tour" is Houston, Texas, for the O'Reilly Spring Nationals. And the tour will be concluded in the city of Las Vegas.
