If you lay the odds at craps, you bet against the shooter, or against a number shown before the seven. If you bet against the shooter, it means you hope that a seven will come before the shooter’s number. If you bet on certain numbers being rolled before a seven is rolled, it means you place a don’t bettor.
A don’t ten bet is when you lay the odds of a certain bet to win on the odds bet. The original bet pays even money. The casino betting odds on a don't four are the same. The odds on a don't five or nine means you lay $9 to win $6. The odds on a don't six or eight means you lay $6 to win $5.
As you can see, placing the bet on the no side requires placing the side pay too, because this bet is not placed by too many people. Many people consider this bet unlucky, but that is not true, in fact it is very lucrative at a cold table.
You can place the don’t bets whenever you want, but people don’t like them too much. The only difference between laying the odds behind the line on a don't come bet and laying them behind the line bet on a come bet is that you will have to place some extra money.
Both bets have the same chances of succeeding, but because people consider them unlucky they aren’t placed too often. If you have a successful dice strategy you should use it, because you should exploit every situation that will give you an edge over the casino.
