CHALLENGE POKER SCREENSHOT
Challenge Poker

Playing

When you play Challenge Poker you have the opportunity the play 1, 2, 3 or all 4 levels. Each level is a different game with different payouts (actually, the 1st level is the video poker game Jacks or Better, the 2nd game is All American, the 3rd is Deuces Wild and the 4th is Joker Poker). You move to the next level if you win on the current level. Each level has higher multipliers than the previous one.

A separate deck of cards is used for each level. So if you get, for example, the Queen of clubs in one level, you could also be dealt the Queen of clubs in one or more of the other levels. However, you would not be dealt the Queen of clubs twice in the same level.

  • Select your credit denomination:

Decide how much you want each credit to be worth using the left and right arrows.

  • Select the number of levels you want to play:

Click on Select Levels to determine the number of levels you want to play. When you reach 4, you can click it again to reset it back to 1.

  • Select the number of credits to bet on each hand:

Click on Bet Per Level to establish the number of credits you want to bet on each level. You can bet between 1 and 5 credits on each level. The number of credits bet will be displayed in the Bet Box and the total amount bet is displayed in the Total Bet Box.

  • Click Deal:

The cards on the 1st level will be turned over.

  • Select which cards to hold:

When deciding which cards to Hold, it is very important to keep in mind that you ar playing different games on each level, like Jacks or Better, All American, Deuces Wild and Joker Poker. All have different pay tables and winning hands. The pay table for the current game and number of coins you are betting will be displayed on the left side of the screen as you play each hand. Click on PAYS under each game name to see its pay table.

  • Click Draw:

All cards not Held will be replaced with new cards. The cards just discarded cannot re-appear in this game. If you have a winning combination, you win the amount from that hand and you move up a level to the next hand. (Assuming you selected to play more than one level.)

On each level, select the cards you want to Hold and then click on Draw.

The payout multipliers gradually increase on each subsequent level. The system pays one times the pay table for Level 1, two times the pay table for Level 2, four times the pay table for Level 3 and eight times the pay table for Level 4.

If you do not have a winning combination on a level, the game ends and you cannot play the next level. You are paid for any hands that have won up to that point.

  • Click Deal to start a new game:

The outcome of the last hand remains displayed on the screen until you click on Deal. To repeat your last bet, just click Deal, or you can make changes to the credits, levels and/or bets first.

    • Sound FX: this turns the game sounds (like the cards snapping into place and beeps when you click on the buttons) on and off.
    • Load Ambient Sound: this will turn on the sounds of a normal casino, such as people talking in the background (these sounds are very quiet compared to the other sounds).
